Hello! My name is Joseph DeProfio, prepare to be tapered!

Behind the chair I go by Joe! I attended New England School of Barbering January through June of 2023 after completing the 800-hour Barber I program, work on The Male Room began.

I’ve been offering full barbering services at The Male Room ever since; beard maintenance, modern and traditional haircutting, and full facial shaves. Fundamentally, a Barber’s job is to work with their client to help them achieve a style that is practical for them and helps them to go out and into the world with more confidence. I love doing what I do and the tradition that comes with barbering service.

Outside of the shop, I can be found hunched over my laptop or iPad in a cafe working on my next novel.
